ProE to Catia, Catia to ProE

hi friends,

i have a problem about the translation of ProE CAD data.

i want to send the proE data, that i have designed with proE, to a company that i use Catia.

The model is much big and content many subassemblies. i want the company to be able to see all of the properties and also to change them.

Step , iges formats are not suffiecient for such usage, i think..

has anyone any idea or suggestions about that? converter programs can do also that?

the only other way i see is to create shrinkwrap of each individual part in an assembly and then converting using a STEP or IGES.

If your not going to use Step 203 or Iges, Try a 3rd party Transmagic. They have a suite of products that will help you.

TTI has a service that will convert solid models from one system format to another. It isn't cheap!
