Problems Running Proengineer 2001

I am having a problem getting PROe 2001 (Student Edition) to run on my machine. I have the ME operating system and was wondering if there were any issues running it on that OS. When I launch the app I immediately get an "Out of environment space" error and a cannot detect what type of machine error.

right click on proe2001 icon (the one which opens proe by double clicking it) and click on properties , then maximize the screen resolution.


your proe will start running correctly.

I searched through every tab on the properties window and have not found any screen resolution setting. The regular Windows display properties also has no effect.


Any other suggestions?
