Problem with Gpost

Andy_S

New member
I am trying to write a postprocessor using Gpost for our Wadkin CNC router witha Bosch CC100 control, I have most working except fot the radius comand, it needs to output R- for moves of less than 180 degrees and R+ for more than 180 degrees, there is the option in gpost to do this but all it does is output R with no sign so it always goes 270 degrees for a 90 degree corner.

Cheers for any help

Hi Andy,

I have come across this problem on our bosch cc100 control (WadkinUx
Router). The + and - radius situation is peculiar only to this control.
The best way to get round it is to use the I,J and K command when
programming the gcode for radii. I use this method as i use Edgecam cam
software to program the gcode it saves a lot of hassle.

Hope this helps

We have the same machine, what did you do about the tool call??

you have to lower the head and then turn it on (or vice versa)

I will try IJK

do you still have to put all the lines in at the begining?

Openthe gpost generator and select the panel for Motion / Circular

Use the pulldown for "Maximum Degrees Per Block."

Change the value to either "Quadrant Crossing for Older Controls" or "90 Degress per block."
