We have a assembly that controls the suppression of components and and controls the dimensions throught pro/program. I have an executed the statements to the top level assemlby so that i wont have to hit current values 50 time when regenrating.
I sometimes replace a component manually since that part is exactly the same in a different project. I do this for BOM reasons so that the die shop doesn't fabricate a new part. I now have to his current values once for the overall assy plus once more for each component i replace manually.
If i delete or move the component from the working directory/folder that GOT replaced pro/e will later complain after erasing mem and reopening the assy the pressing regen. It says that it failed to execute component xxx, even thought It is no longer in the assy.
Why did it complain until after the component was removed from the folder?
