Pro/E is alive ?!?

Ineed some help on this problem:

I have an assembly defined on a layout. I must replace a component in this assembly with another, in order to do this I must change the old component name in layout with the new one and regenerate the assembly and the layout. Quiteeasy up here but

Did you setup a parameter for the part? If so, you may need to change the name-p/n in the parameter. The BOM table reads information from the parameters. I hope this helps.

I mean what did you change in pro/program?
