Pro/E and SAPPLM?

My company just replaced Intralink with SAPPLM as our DBM system and it's been very painful and has resulted in major productivity losses and increased frustration levels across the board. The big selling point was that it was supposed to make things better for our contract manufacturing engineering supply chain but it has failed even there. I think that the powers that be only looked at the bottom line (dollar$) and were sold a bill of goods. Does anyone out there successfully use SAPPLM and Pro/E WIldfire 3? Our admin guys have worked long and hard to make the transition as smooth as possible but it's a continuing nightmare

in my previous company - before I left - there was big project regarding implementing SAP into PDMLINK. In that moment(2006) basic funcionality was working regarding development team: basic info about quantities, part info etc.

However it wasn`t available for logistic, sales and rest.

Recently I was informed they implemented it(SAP&PDMLINK) finaly and all neccessary deps are involved.
