Price for ARX (PhotoLux)

anybody have a confirmed price for the add-on module ARX (Advanced Rendering eXtension), otherwise know asphotolux?


I'd appriciatea quick responce if anybody has the time!

I was told 995 last year by someone at PTC but never confirmed it.

before you consider photolux, have you seen the thread about "maxwell render"

i would check it out 1st, its well amazing.

One of the problems with ARX (for us anyway) is that its not a stand
alone product.

as in it takes up a seat of Pro while rendering?

Puppet, I've seen the "maxwell" post.. it's quite impressive, but the thing 'm looking at photolux for is not final rendering but concept and delevopment renderings to show to perspective clients.. again it's the parametric nature o the renderpackage that appeals to me most, andwould be the potential time saver!

Yes, Iam not the only one in the office that renders and we often need
to create one while I am working on something else in pro. Its also
nice to have a render chug away on another machine while Iam working
and not have to worry about license issues.
