I have modeled several long plastic parts - some made from PC and others are a PC/ABS blend - thatare up to 19" long so I need to place a table on the drawings that will supercede the general tolerance block with more "real-world" tolerances. I've been given some pretty dated information (circa 1967) as to what tolerances are manufacturable for the resins but I would like to use something more curent (we have made some advancements since then, right?). I've already Googled my fingers to the bone, looking.Could anyone point me to a good source? TIA

Since the DIN document isnot free, I am hesitant to purchase it without knowing if it has been updated to include tolerances for PC/ABS blends. The old version (November 1982) that I have a partial copy of does not. Could anyone check this out for me?

Material suppliers offer lots of free design guides.
