Hi all, I hope you've had a good Easter :)

Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone had good success with converting mylars to ProE models or drawings.
I've heard that CorelDraw comes with an utility called TRACE that can trace contours in the picture file and save it to DXF, wchih can be easily imported into PRoE.
Can anyone confirm that?
Is there a better solution?

Thanks!

There is indeed a good tracer in Corel, that can be set to various options and precision. Sometimes the image needs a bit of pre-processing to enhance the results and you even may want to modify the vector result that is produced. For both you'll find Corel Photopaint and Draw - within the same software suite - to be perfectly able to do just that.

Have been with Corel since version 3 (on Win 3 ! ) and do all graphic things with it.

Please pardon my ignorance, and perhaps it is a license issue, but I do not have access to the style tool. Apart from license is there something I am missing?

In order to use the style tool you need to havea license for ISDX. In ISDX you can importmultiple sketchs and set on different Datum plane using the trace sketch command.
