pattern along a curve

i need to pattern a hole along the inside of this part, but for some reason i can not . But i can along the surface.







any ideas?

solved it

1) created a curve by the intersection of a datum plane and surface of the part.



2) created a datum point along this curve ( right clicking untill the
entire curve is selected



3) created a datum plan through the point and curve.



4) create a datum plan through that point and normal to the datum plane "above"



5) created my sketech on (4) datum plane. referencing that datum point



6) create protrustion or cut



7) group 2 -6



8) pattern this point along the curve

"pattern -> fill - > select the curve

ratio pattern is best for even distribution of the points along the curve





9) reference pattern that group
