Parts too small to display?

I have come across a strange error in Solidworks when modeling parts that are very small. When I create a feature that has dimensions which are really small, the feature will not display after it builds. It is built successfully and when I click in the screen area where the part should be, the orange wire frame of the feature appears but the part is never visible.

I am trying to make a sphere with a 0.001 mm diameter. The sphere will only appear as a solid when I make the diameter larger than 0.02 mm.

Is there anyway around this problem or could it be related to my graphics card?
