Hi Gang!


How to make a part look transperent in ProE 2001?

View > Model Setup > Color and Appearance.
From dialog box, goto 'Advanced' tab, set Transparency.

You must also enable transparency
view> display settings> model display. Thengoto 'shade' tab in that dialog box, theres a check box for transparency.

after selecting "color and appearance" then select a color and pick modify


you will then be able to go to the "Advanced" tab to set the transparency.


without selecting a color (cannot use default color) you will not see the


"advanced tab"
