Opening slp data in Pro/E

I'm *really* new at Pro/E--I've just kind of been thrown into this task. So apologies for dumb question(s).

Is there any way to import SLP files into Pro/E? I can save them out, but would like to compare them to the reference models in Pro/E, so I'd like to bring the SLP back in.

Is this possible?

Thanks,

eric

SLP is *really* a new one to me.

An obscure(?) facet data format it appears to be.

Some converters:

Alternatively you might do as well to export and re-import
one of the other facet formats that Pro/E will read ...
STL or VRML maybe? They probably all use the same facet
generator.

Thanks, Jeff.

I think the folks I'm doing work for also import/export STL, but it seems to lump its polys all into one object, whereas SLP seems to keep them separated.

VRML might be another option, I'll explore that and the links you have provided.
