Noobie quesiton - cutting a hole

Yes, I am learning wildfire 1 as my first ProE program. I am amazed with it coming from Rhino and FormZ.



I went thru a tutorial book from PTC and was able to get the hole tool to work. However, when I simply try to make a hole into a block that I have created, I never get the green arrow to show up on the dashboard. I have selected thru all on both sides of the hole and select the refernce side of the block. I can see the yellow cylinder that reperesents the hole thru the block. Thanks for the advice.

You probably have not placed it on a face. Look in your references and see if the primary exists; I suspect it is just floating in space.

Right, I see the info on it and I created a reference just for it. thanks.
