no able to rename part

I having an assembly that is create by other company's engineer... they are using the PDM..



Now we can not contact with them.... but problem come out when i try to rename the part... I am not allow to rename the part as it is with the PDM of that company...



Can any one tell me how to rename those part ...

Add the config.pro option:



LET_PROE_RENAME_PDM_OBJECTS YES



or something like that. I don't have Pro/E in front of me. It will allow you to rename Pro/E files that are part of a PDM system.
