The style feature is a superfeature consisting of both curves and surfaces that employs freeform modeling in the ISDX package. (Traditional modeling is parametric, using dimensions and parameters to control your features. With freeform, your manipulating your features in 3-D space using what PTC calls soft-point technology.) ISDX used to be a package called CDRS, until PTC bought them out and incorporated the software into Pro E.
