Can solidworks do thermal problems where the bulk temperature of air is initially unknown? For example, when you have a box within a box; you know the outside temp is ambient, but you have multiple convective resistances and multiple unknown temperatures.
Suggestions for Excel (or Matlab?) or thermal software that are useful for this? Solidworks has does well with convection of a solid, but if you get more complicated, it seems to be useless
I understand this can be a very tricky thing to model. I'm OK with guessing at the convection coefficients - would just like to bracket the solution.
