I am using solidWorks 2006 and I am tring to create a mold. I am using the tutorial and have been able to recreate the part that is included. The tutorial talks about straddle faces and that you can't have any when creating a mold, but it doesn't explain what they are or how to correct the problem if your part has them. I have followed all of the steps up to the Tooling Split but after editting and dimensioning the sketch for the mold sections, the property manager does not open to create the mold blocks. I assume this is because my part has straddle faces. Can anyone help with this problem?
