Question:<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
Can ModelCHECK set the designation of individual parameters?
Curtis

Yes it can. In default_checks.mch file activate the following option:

DESIGNATED_ATTR YNEW Y N N N N

Then in the file default_start.mcs use the option PRT_PARAMETER. ASM_PARAMETER, DRW_PARAMETER. See example below:

DRW_PARAMETERAPPROVED_BYSTREQP DM
PRT_PARAMETERAPPROVED_BYSTRNEQ PDM
ASM_PARAMETERAPPROVED_BYSTRNEQ PDM

With NEQ meaning not designated and EQ meaning designated.

Works great. You help is much appreciated.

Under which section in default_start.mcs are the parameters defined - the "start part report configuration" or the "part/assembly information"?
