Mechanism design

You could replace you servo motor with a forceand then, depending on the geometry and the nature of relative motion, you can:


-create cam connection between the parts with lift-off enabled, or


-create joint with limits.


Make sure you specify a restitution coefficient equal to 0 for the cam/ joint with limits. That means the impact is perfectly plastic so the first part will rest on the second one.
