I am trying to model a jointfor force analysisin Pro Mechanica.<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com
ffice
ffice" />
I went Properties> Material Assignment and assign the part to SS shown in the picture.

I then tried to look at the mass of the object by looking in Analysis> Model > Mass properties, but the density is not inherited from the material SS that I just assigned and my mass value is obviously wrong (see picture). Howcan I make Pro/E pass on the density from my material file?

I first thought that I can just change the density in the dialog box, it seemslike it's working but the accuracy limit is 1e-8 so I can't just punch in 7.74372e-9. How can I change the density unit in the Mass properties dialog box?
