mass properties

Can someone help me figure out how to change the mass properties of a part after they have been assigned in the model analysis window? when doing mass properties analysis it prompts the user to input the density of the part, but i can't figure out how to change it later. Thanks.

Hi,


You could also set them in the relations.


MP_DENSITY = 7.85e-6
MASS = MP_MASS("")


You will need to create a parameter for called Mass for this eg. and set the density for your requirements.


This will allow you to show calculated mass in your BOM using the Mass parameter.

All the above are well suggested. Plus if you have matweb file you should assign the material to the part by navigating through your pro-e. then when ur ready to generate report your density will automatically will come up then click on the source and select /by geometry and parameters.
