Mass Properties

Can model mass properties be displayed in Intralink table columns?

I have tried to create Intralink parameters for mass, volume, density, and area but there is no pick for "real numbers"

any suggestions?

Hi, CPODOM,

I think in model you can create parameters what all required,Or else you can write parameters in start up part.

In Intralink there is a attribute type 'float'. I assume this corresponds with real in Pro/E. But I have never used it.

In Pro/E the parameter has to be designated, for that it is assosiated with the Intralink attribute

We defined a relation, weight = mp_pro_mass and then put weight in the family table so every instance would have its own weight.

Hello looslib.

I have similar relations setup in my family table to give me the weight of each instance. However its only calculating the weight of the generic and applying that weight to all its instances......how did you get around this??

Thanks,

Lee

hi,

go to analaysis in part modelling, and then model analysis, give density as input and u will get all material properties
