Making perfect geometry in assembly

rakic

New member
I want to add component in assembly and to push it in to the geometry of another part and to deform that geometry of that second part so that can fit perfectly and not to deform the part that I just add.

How to fo that?

This might work for you.

Change to sheet metal, convert the part to sheet metal, use the functionality in sheet metal to alter the part. (Create form)

If not a sheet metal part make a surface quilt that repesents the shape, cut the part and then thicken the quilt. Or something to that effect, your going to have to play a bit to get what you want if your unsure on how to do this.

Not going to actually deform anything in Pro-E.
