make PDF file with WF3

You can use a free PDF program like. PrimoPDF.

Or you can create a custom PDF setup with Ghostscript and FreeDist.

This is what I use and once it's setup it runs perfectly smooth. I have been running this for several years.

If anyone is interested on how to set this up. PM me

My users simply click on the print icon, choose pdf and the pdf is generated quickly and exactly as the drawing.

Mine (which is Ghostscript) has the benefit that you don't interact with the MS Print window, therefore mapkeys and custom icons create the PDF in the drawing size the user wants and is tied to the mapkey with no further intervention. The PDF goes to the user's desktop (configurable) and also launches in Reader when complete.

The setup I use runs both Ghostscript and FreeDist. It's powerful because I can have the PDF's dumped into a network location. I can have multipage PDF's created automatically and many more options.

Is this an overlay drawing? Pro/E can't handle them. It's supposed to be fixed in build 070, which is due out in March. Also, make sure you set the layer radio button to visible instead of the default all. But it looks like you're having the same problem I had where it puts all your sheets on one page.
