If your are trying to make pdf from the pro-e menu bar I suggest to get your own. Somehow when I print from it, is just a big mess.download primo pdf it free, then add to your printers. And just select the pdf printer.

Hi Dear,

I have got one software for ProE Pdf. From that you can make PDF easily.YOu will get that option while taking print itself.

The file is 3Mb so I cant upload that software in this.

If you give me your email ID I will send it to there.

I have install WF3 "out of the box" without Acrobat. And i can make pdf files direct from ProE. Just use the icon to make PDF files. If you don't have the icon you can add it.

I use the icon to make PDF files, I set the window "PDF export settings"that appear like this:

format: stroke all fonts

color :monochrome

etc

but the result isn't the same of drawing.......

Hi,

As already suggested you could try to create a PDF using some additional software.
A good free software package to do this is PDFCreator which you can download from
http://pdfcreator.sourceforge.net
After installation an additional Windows printer called PDFCreator will be added to the list of available Windows printers.
I use it sometimes instead of the standard ProE WildFire 3 pdf creation when things go wrong.

Best regards,

I would download the CutePDF printer driver (it's free - Google it) and print this via the MS Print Manager window. Not going to get TTF fonts, unfortunately - but otherwise you should be fine.

ATT.: arroyopr:
It looks like it could be a lot of surfaces and other stuff that normally would be in a layer. Try this setting in the "PDF Export Settings" dialogbox, under the "Content" tab: Layers: Visible only.

The "PDF Export Settings" dialogbox appears when clicking Save a copy -> PDF -> OK. According to PTC Technical Support there is no way to make Default settings

I have about 4 different SPRs for File>Save A Copy to type PDF for Wildfire 3.0. It is not a mature PDF creator and we have stopped using it. I would suggest not investing any more time or effort into getting it to function as you want.

I try that with the same results.

peterbrowm77, when there's nothing to do and time to spare. It's always good to try to fix old problems, improve skills and the quality of work.
