Lofting a square to a partial elipse

Hello,
I've been trying to create a solid loft from the face of an extruded elipse to the face of an extruded square and it doesnt seem to work correctly. It looks like the issue may be something to do with the fact the square has 4 sides and the elipse has 3. Is there a way to create the loft that I'm not doing correctly?

Break the patrial elipse sketch up into 4 bits to tie in with the four edges of the square, you can then decide which edge of the square corresponds to which part of the partial ellipse. So yes, you were correct.

To follow Michel path, lern about from the SW help files. You have there en exemple to loft a square to an circle. But it is the same.

Solidworks has done much to not have you require to break things up just to get lofts to work, but this is not one of those cases
