I hope some one can help , I`m very new to solidworks and teaching my self with sw2006 , the problem i have is when i try to link any lines together it no longer goes green to tell me the lines are joined and wont show the center of a line , I think I`ve check or uncheck a box somwhere .... Many thanks Kevin

thank you for your reply

I`m sorry ive not been very clear ... It`s just when I first started I used to be able to hover the mouse over the end of a drawn line and it would go green to let me know the next line would join it , for some reason now the cursor dot allways stays red and when you zoom right in the two lines do not join , so i can never fully define a skech .....

I do not understand very well your problem.

Try that:
Select, in the same time (using CTRL or SHIFT key) the points you wish to merge. Then, in the feature manager select COINCIDENT, then OK.

Hope this is a help for you.

Good luck !
