Leader lines and arrows on images

We are adding images (BMP and TIFF) to our drawings more and more everyday for various reasons. It has been working well for us, until we start adding notes with arrows pointing to items within the image.

The problem is that the image is overlaying itself over the leader line. We want the leader to overlay on the image...on screen. (I say on screen, because it actuallyprints fine)

If placing and editing and updating images has been working well, why not try and add the notes with leaders to the image prior to placing it on the drawing?

Not an option.

Notesneed to be remain editable and the image easily replaceable.

I have the same issue emetz. We place an image (vendor drawing) inside our border and sometimes we have labels pointing to objects within the image. I haven't found any way around it with using images. But if I were to import a dxf or something, then I can add my labels and see things correctly on the screen.

If I can get a dxf or similar file great, but if all I get is a PDF or bmp I'll use that too. If it is a PDF then I will convert it to a bmp and import that. An imported PDF just shows up as an icon on my drawings.

Sorry I can't help you more.

We use PDF and BMP only. I've been reading about all the trouble importing PDF's, but we have no issue here since WF3. With either image though, same problem. It is as if the image is taking some sort oflayer priority over the leader lines and notes. Seems so simple...yet no fix! Thanks for the replies.
