I am new to pro-e I'm having trouble tring to control my tool paths. Ineed to run a tool from right to left then into the arc and only cut half the arc then use an lead out with arc to complete. then com down the face of the part and then complete the other half of the arc. suggestions pleaseView attachment 1827

Lynn,

You need to adjust the ends of your turn profile. Leave the start point as "On" and for theenddo "specify" and select anywhere. Choose "ext length"give a negative value of .25*arc rad*3.142. This willstop the tool at 45 degrees through the arc.

Apply the lead out motion in Customize.

Regards

Peter,

Thanks I just got back to test this logic out it worked for the end of the tool path, but I'm not able to apply the same logic to the lead in section. Can this be done? or am I just messing it up?(hmmm possible)
