I am having a problem with intralink v3.4 . when loging in brings up "error loading preferences".
Has anyone else seen this error. I have not been able to figure it out. user also lost .proi folder somehow with workspaces. ? not sure whats going on here.
ilprefs file could be corrupt, also if the path is not set correctly for Intralink and not setthe users windows home directory is the default and if it changes than the .proi location changes as well. Safe way is to set the windows environment.
Do a search on the system (as well as any mapped drives) for .proi, some IT groups set the users home and default settings on a network drive. If this is moved or changed it could be bad.
As slash suggests, probably issue with ilprefs file... in the past i've solved by
copying an ilprefs file from a working installation. Sometimes a Saved
Search can cause problems if it has numbers in the name (eg:
1_all_drawings)
