installing 2000i2 on Windows 2000

When installing 2000i2 on Windows 2000 a program error occurs indicating that PTCsetup.exe has generated errors and will be closed preventing me from installing. What's the fix to allow installing?

A couple of suggestions:

- Try running with the extra ptcsetup tag:

ptcsetup -ptcsetup



- Alternatively, try a different build - some CDs have problems with their setup programs.

but how to run with the ptcsetup??

when i run it in ....\bin\ptcsetup.

it also could not run it !!!

ptcsetup -ptcsetupmeaning?

You would type ptcsetup -ptcsetup from the correct folder (proe2001\bin) in a command prompt window.
