Create relations in your start part and start assy's.
The new part will prompt you for the values within the quotes.
If your title blocks have these relations built in they will read the values you have.
It's actually pretty simple. Be sure to verify relations before closing them and
good luck.
There's no need to enter relations in start part to show parameters only on drawing.
If you want to enter drawing info like date_created, designer, reviewer and so on, just put parameters in the format title block or whatever table that will exist on the drawing.
Parameters should be in form "¶meter", so for Pro/E to prompt you e.g. for the creation date of the drawing, enter parameter &date_created in the cell of the title block on the format. On the format you will see only parameters, but when you will use that format for the drawing creation, Pro/E will prompt you for all the parameters you supplied on the format.
Both replys are good . But i feel they have not given you what you truely need and that is you must decide where you want this information to reside.
If you want this info to reside in the model than Dans way is a good idea . This way any time you start a drawing with this model you will extract the info from the model. Also if you sendjust the model to any one all your info will be imbeded in the parameters of the model.
If you just want the info to remain in the drawing file. Then setting up all your parameters in the drawing is a good idea. There would not be any info embbed in the parameters of the model.
ANd Last you could do a combination of both. You have to decided what you truly want done and then that will help you on your way.
