info wildfire 4.0 using intralink 3.4

Has anyone heard if you can run wildfire 4.0 on Intralink 3.4.

You won't be able to use Wildfire 4.0 with Intralink 3.4. There have been a lot of complaints by people who say they want PTC to enable the functionality but PTC has said it is too big a job for a product that is at the end of its life.

Intralink 9.0 will be fully compatible with Wildfire 4.0 and Wildfire 5.0, the next coming. Support for Intralink 3.x will be finished soon.

No, Intralink 9.1 is required for Wildfire 4. Intralink 9 will only support Wildfire 3.

Hold On there big boys!!!!! OUr local VAR consulted with us a year ago and it waa determined that our present software of Wildfire 3 and Intralink 3.3 would not allow us to upgrade to Wildfire 4. So, the plan we have put into place is to install Wildrire 3 MO110 (presently) and upgrade to Intralink 3.4 MO40 which then would support the upgrade to Wildfire 4. If anyone has doucmentation to dispute this claim we are unaware of this and would appreciate your feedback! Our consultation with PTC has been that this configuration / version releaseswill becompatibile.

I believe PTC has chimed in on the PTC/User exploder. Intralink 3.x will not suppport Wildfire 4.0.


Just because there is a proposed build of Intralink 3.4, after Wildfire 4.0 is released, does NOT mean that it will support Wildfire 4.0.
