IGES data to solid

Dear friends,

I have an IGES file which is converted from assembly to a single IGES file in surface format.

I want to make that as solid part.

I have to select each and every surface individually and i have to make it as solid(Part wise).

Is there any way to select all the surfaces belonging to one part in a single click?

Thanks,

Raj

If you have all one sided edges

_ Pick the Import Feature, Edit Definition.
_ Edit -> Feature Properties -> Join Surfs

If you are lucky you'll end up with closed shells that
can be copied (singlepick per quilt) to part files and
Solidified to create an assembly. Or, you can try
(while in the import edit mode) try Make Solid in
addition to Join. This will merge coincident face
solid bodies into a single body.

If you are not lucky you will have a lot of studying to do. `;^)

In proe2001,right click the import feature, redefine, many works to do as I know.
