I’d like to automate axis creation

Hiall, here's some food for thoughts:

we're working more than often with imported geometry from our customers. There's parts that come with hundreds of holes.
When it comes to drilling, it becomes a problem since there's no center axis associated with those holes. Each and every axis needs to be created "by hand" - we have a hotkey (Axis-Create-Cylinder) to do that, but still it's time consuming and debilitating at the best....
I wonder if there's a smart way to automate this process (UDF, or???).

Any ideas will be appreciated!

Thanks,

There is a toolkit app that we got from PTC that will add axis to imported geometry. Contact your local AE.

Mark I have the Toolkit application and it works pretty good.PM me your email address and I'll send the files.

For anyone wondering about this app - it's a beauty and HUGE time-saver. On behalf of the ProNC community, thanks Andy - you're a true asset.
