how to enable AAX?

rwithop

New member
I am running WF 3.0 with a network license.

(Disclaimer: I am an engineer and sort of new on ProE.)

I am trying to do top-level design, like designing a computer mouse and splitting it into individual parts that maintain their associativity to the overall shape.

Problem
is, I don't see "Publish Geometry" or "Copy Geometry" listed in the
Insert->Shared Data-> menu. We have AAX but I have no clue how to
get it to install when I load up ProE.

Thoughts?

Use "Tools > Floating Modules" if it is set as a floating license option.

Otherwise, you can specify Pro/E to pick up the license feature when you start Pro/E. For this you will need to run ptcsetup.bat from the bin directory and select the option in your startup extyensions and floating licenses.
