create>>surface>>advanced>>from file

You can create them inside of Pro/E:

Or outside using notepad or similiar (make sure you give your file the ibl extension), check these threads out:

You can also use a spreadsheet and save your data to a text only file.

Hi,

I am trying to open the site http://lti.dem.ist.utl.pt/faq/pro18/howto/dtr810/dtr810.htm
to no avail. I have an iges file that i want to convert to a .ibl or a .pts file so i can read in the points in proe. Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

Tip:


Create a datum-curve "From File" and pick your IGES file (curves only).


When you go to redefine Pro/E will create an IBL file.
