Host Id problem

Whenever i am inserting the pro/e cd, the host name & host id coming on the lower left side is not coming. I am again asking this same question, as everybody is suggesting me if to get know the host name & host id, see on the lower left side. But my problem is host name & host id is not coming. I am having this severe problemwhile installing at customers place.


So please help me.

you need a network card. and it has to be enabled in windows



in a command prompt

start-> run -> cmd

ipconfig /all

thats it. laptops can be a little wierd with this for some reason
