Help : mass-spring-damper model

Hi All,


I am new to Pro/mechnica motion. I am doing my final year project and I ma required to build a mass-spring-damper model. I have gone through some of the tutorials i could lay my hand on but still i am not able to build the model in Pro/motion in the independent mode. Can anyone help with this model.

Pro/MECHANICA Motion has been retired. See the release from PTC. All the functionality of this product can now be obtained in MDX/MDO. There are plenty of tutorials and information on the internet on these products.

I don't have an assembly and the company am doing my final project still make use of pro/mechanica motion 2001 independent mode for dynamic anlysis of multiboby. so they want me to build a model with this version of pro/mechanica motion. Unfortunately they don't have books or tutorials on pro/motion independent mode. So please if you now how to do this or have a tutorial on how to learn how to build a standard mass-spring-damper system in the independent mode of Pro/mechanica motion help. I have search through the internet but there seem not to be any good book on that.
