HELP 2d engineering drawings

I Recently recevied and IGS file from a customer and when attempting to put them into the the standered three veiw drawings I noticed that there were not going in strait the are all part of an assembly. To Make this clearer when you look at a rectangle from the top you only see a the rectangle but in my case i can see the other side as well because its not sitting strait i have tried every thing i can think of any body have any thoughts.

quick and simple, in the model mode, not drawing, select a fact, then hit the space bar, select front, then hit the top middle button to reset your views. now drop it into a drawing and add views. it should help
