Hello i am trying to figure out how to make a helix light
bulb we just got the new pro e in class so the teacher
has been learning a lot but this program doesn't have things the old one has. like i made a spring in pro e but
i am trying to figure out how to combine it to make it
look like a helix light bulb like so

http://www.kerkythea.net/phpBB2/files/lightbulb1_432.jpg

So i was wondering if you guys could help me make one
like i said i have the spring formed but i don't know how
to combine the end of it into the spring its self like
they do in the light bulb.

Thanks hope you can help

From what I could gather from the photograph, I would
create TWO helical curves (helical sweep with a point as a
cross-section), with a staggered pitch. I would then create
3D points to join the two ends of the helix. Use Sweep
command to create the tube one by one.

ps: Your picture takes a lot of time to load. If the
background is white, it would load faster.
