Haas Post Randomness

I am having a very strange issue with my post processor for a Haas VF6. The Gcode will output differently on different workstations. The same manufacturing model and same post processor will spit out different Gcode on different machines! I tried everything; even reintalling ProE...still bad code. The gotos are different, usually in the X, Y, and Z....it makes a bad part! Any similar experience?

Did you check to see if the machines are all using the same config.pro file? Their might be a difference there.

I have seen this problem before. Make sure that you are using a minimum of 8 digits after the decimal place for the cldata output. If these are set correctly and your still having issues test to see which computer is giving the bad code. It wouldn't surprize me if the cpu installed is a ZEON. I noticed a problem between good code and bad code when both computers were identical except for the cpu. The toolpaths produced on a Pentium 4 3.2.g GHZ were beautiful. Those same toolpaths produced on the Zeon 4 3.2GHZ were incorrect.

Not sure why the differenace. Maybe the math co-processors are twofast.

the Config.pro options are

mfg_xyz_num_digits 10 and

mfg_ijk_num_digits 10
