Glass??

Hi,


I was wondering if Mechanica has the ability to analyse glass?


a little history on my model..


I'm looking to design a very thin stiffstructure, say under 6mm, (300mmx 300mmin plan) which will sustain a 1500N load palced in the center.


I know toughenedglass works, I'd like to look at various combinations of thiner toughened glass suported by metal pressings or die castings.


Is this possible?

If you know the modulus of the glass, Mechanica should be able to analyze it. Mechanica assumes a linear elastic material. Glass should be very linear elastic.
