Sorry in advance if I sound completely ignorant. I'm
trying to find some direction.
My employer currently uses Intralink/WildFire for their
CAD environment. There's some pretty dated integrated
apps developed in Pro/TOOLKIT in there as well.
Well, now we're upgrading to PDMLink/Windchill, and
they've come to me about how we're going to go forward
with our CAD development stuff.
First, they're willing to send me to training. As far as
I can see, there's only 1 place that offers training with
these APIs and that's
<a href="http://www.felcosolutions.com/" target="_blank">Felco
Solutions</a>. Unfortunately, that doesn't even really
help me too much because I don't even know what I need
training in.
There seems to be a lengthy list of different development
environments available within Windchill, and I don't even
know how to choose one.
Ultimately, my employer would like for me to be
proficient at Pro/Toolkit (but it appears that the new
Object/Toolkit will be coming out soon to replace this?),
and I'd appreciate any help in trying to make the most
informed decisions in the beginning.
