Family table instances in repaet regions

I've been reading up on creating repeat regions that show instances and values from family tables. Yet I'm just not getting it.



Some mention 2D regions while others talk about using multiple simple regions with filters. What our your suggestions. Some tables will contain simple subassemblies while others will be used for more complex assemblies. I am using Wildfire 2.0.
