Explosions

I am making an explosion of an assembly. One of the "parts" is a swept surface. I have not been successful in moving the swept surface with some of the other parts. Is there a way to accomplish this other than leaving the swept surface stationary and moving everything else?

The part in your assembly is not solidified?You stated that it is a swept surface.you should be able to right click thru the parts and still select the part that is a swept surface.

If you still can not succeed I would create a thin solid from the surface and try it then.
