Environment Variables in Ilink 3.0 (Client)

Alright, this is definately a newbie question, however; our Pro/E Administrator is not here today and I am the IT Administrator at the company. However, they felt to forgo the training on Pro/E admin for myself. I have installed Pro/E in prev. versions, however have not installed 2001 and Ilink 3.0 before. I have somewhere forgotten to set the PDM_PROE_PATH environment variable. I do not know where to go to set this variable either. If someone could tell me where to go (on MY COMPUTER) it would be great.
