electrode extraction

hello,


I am working in a tool room.we are manufacturing injection molds


Mold is designed in pro e. the inserts of the core and cavity is splited into more than 60 pieces


now i need to extract copper electrode of the profile to me mfg in spark edm.


I FOLLOW THE FOLLOWING METHOD.


open the insert in the asm .


creat a part on the profile and ref part cut out


now tweak the profile with the spark gap of 0.15.


make the dwg file for it.


is there any better way

there is, but to be an arse- because you work for tyco, i gotta pass on giving up the goods- make them send you to training. the have burned sooooo many u.s. vendors....
