Hi all,
New here and I have encountered a problem when simulating
a landing of a landing gear.
1st problem: Cannot get the landing gear to approach the
runway
2cnd problem: The model rolls around very slowly when the
analysis is run and does not stay upright.
Info:
The landing gear is rather simple, with wheels, doors, a
main trunnion and other small parts.
A spring is included in the assembly.
Gravity is set to the normal value
The landing gear is assembled to the runway using co
planar joint
The tyres of the landing gear are connected to the runway
via cams
SO, my question is this: How, and what forces/motors does
one use to get something to approach the ground, and roll
along it?
I can't even get it to drop to the ground.
If anyone could give me any pointers at all I would be
most appreciative.
Cheers!
